Winter Solstice Fire Ceremony

Ritual makes visible the connection between us and our more than human kin. Ritual creates harmony and congruity within and around us. It reminds us of our priorities, of what’s real and what is illusion. Ritual is not a luxury. It is important to the survival of our hearts, our families, our relationships, our planet, and so we invite you to join us online for a Winter Solstice Fire Ceremony

Together we will bid farewell to these shortest of days, set intentions and set our coordinates, share our favorite parts of our own ancestral winter festivals, and make offerings to the sacred fire. I will be facilitating this ritual from my own hearth and invite those able to do the same, so we may be connected by a web of light as we celebrate the return of the sun/ son. Those without a fireplace may use a candle instead.

We will also be sharing a recipe for alcohol free celebration elixir for sober celebrants and traditional Yule oracle dream divination practice that will unfold over the 12 nights following the ritual that will give us insight and guidance about the year to come.  

Our Winter Solstice Fire Ceremony will take place on Sunday December 20th, 11 am to 1 pm pacific time via zoom. 

Participation is free for supporters on Patreon at the REISHI level and up (visit the Patreon link in our profile for more details) An access link for the live circle will appear in your Reishi Level & Up feed by December 19th. 

Everyone else can register using the link below by December 19th, and will receive the link via email. All are welcome who have interest in hearing about different cultures ways of contextualizing sun worship with Irish Celtic teachings as the entry point. A link to the recording will be provided within 72 hours for those who cannot attend live.
